Thanks to these ladies who have worked both days to provide us with the most delicious lunches. They also come in the night before to get everything set up, do all the prep, cleaning up, and never complain. We are so fortunate to have them. They are the unsung heroes of our painting world. Thank you!

April 16 was a special day. It was more of a fund raiser for our new friends, the girls of the Child Protection Team. We all brought in paintings for their brand new building. We also all painted more during the day. What a great day it was. Everyone had a good time. Three girls from the Child Protection Team joined us and gave a talk about what they do. They are extremely dedicated to what they do. The children are so fortunate to have a team like those girls during such a very dark time in their young lives.
9 a.m. Everyone's here...Dee starts the meeting.
Joanne Hedges made up ten framed pictures for every person on the Protection Team. It reads, "To The World You May Be One Person... But To One Person You May Be The World." Allison accepted her gift and she was so appreciative. The two other girls had not yet arrived. Their job is a 24-7 job so it was hard for all three to get away for the entire day.

Show & Tell

Here are the girls that do all the meal set up and organizing...and clean up. The clean up part will now change....We will all pitch in.
This is Becky and the two Allisons; The child Protection Team girls putting their raffle tickets in the cups. Actually, one won a $15 gift card to Starbucks which she gave to one of our painters, and another won a $20 gift card to Paneras. So they did o.k.
